Curriculum

The Friars Primary School follows The National Curriculum in all KS1 and KS2 classes.

Reading and Writing are often taught simultaneously, using a wide variety of quality and engaging texts.

Maths is taught following the White Rose Maths Hub Scheme,

We use Read, Write, Ink to teach phonics in KS1.

The Early Years and Foundation Stage teach towards the Early Years Goals and Development Matters.
