On this page you will find all the songs we have been enjoying within our classes so that you can continue practising them at home. 

Song of the week for the week beginning Monday 14th June is "Runnin'" by Naughty Boy, featuring Beyonce. This song has been chosen to mark Refugee Awareness Week.

Song of the week for the week beginning Tuesday 8th June is "The Greatest Showman (Body Percussion)". This week focus on following the body percussion patterns and joining in with the chorus as you do so!

Song of the week for the week beginning Monday 24th May is "Make you feel my Love" by Adele. A song to relax and unwind to.

Song of the week for the week beginning Monday 17th May is "Everything at Once" by Lenka. See how many similies you can spot!

Song of the week for the week beginning Monday 10th May is "Lovely Day" by Billy Ocean and Young Voices. We will join in with the Young Voices Big sing on 15th June, attempting to break a world record for the largest ever children's choir.

Song of the week for the week beginning Tuesday 4th May is "When I grow up" from the musical Matilda.

Song of the week for the week beginning Monday 26th April is "One Moment, One People", a song about standing together to make the world a brighter place.

Song of the week for the week beginning Monday 19th April is "There's a power in the music". As the song tells us "When our voices join together we are fearless, we are strong."

Song of the Week for the week beginning Monday 29th March is "High Hopes" by Panic! At the disco. This song reminds us of when we last participated in Young Voices in 2020, something we look forward to doing again in the near future!

Song of the week for the week beginning Monday 22nd March is "Reach" by S club 7".This song reminds us to pull together to support each other through the good times and bad times and to always remember that you can be whoever you want to be and achieve all that you have dreamt of in life...and then some!

Song of the week for the week beginning Monday 15th March is "It must be love" by Madness. A song for us to celebrate our wonderful families and tell them how much we love them for all that they do for us! Listen out for the pizzicato sounds of the violins!

Song of the Week for the week beginning Monday 8th March is "Hold my Hand" by Jess Glynne. The mood of this song reflects our feelings of excitement and delight as we welcome each and every one of you back into school after such a long time apart. In the words of Jess "I'm ready for this, there's no denying!".

Song of the Week for the week beginning Monday 1st March is "Happy" by Pharrell Williams, a song to reflect how wonderful it feels to be heading into Spring with it's sunny skies and longer days!

Song of the Week for the Week beginning Monday 22nd February is "I'm still standing". The song was originally written and performed by Sir Elton John, but we will be singing along to this version, from the Animated Movie "Sing".

Song of the Week for the week beginning Monday 8th February is "Cheap Thrills" by Sia. This is a song that we all loved to sing at the top of our voices in Singing Assembly and reminds us that all we need to have fun is ourselves and some great music! Turn it up loud and celebrate the start of the Half Term Holiday!

Our 2nd Song of the week (1.2.21) is "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley, to celebrate Bob Marley's birthday on the 6th February. This song also reminds us to focus on the positive and "Don't worry about a thing, 'cause every little thing, gonna be alright!"

Song of the Week 1 for the week beginning Monday 1st February: This week we are focussing on Mental Health Awareness Week. The song "It's ok (please just say)" reminds us to talk to our family and friends about the way we may be feeling, particularly if we are feeling a little down.

Song of the Week for the week beginning Monday 25th January is Diamonds by Rhianna. A flashback to the happy days of the whole school together singing at the top of our voices. You are all diamonds shining brightly, so sing this one loud!

Song of the Week for the week beginning Monday 18th January is 'Simply the Best' by Tina Turner. Why? Because we think that every single one of you is simply the best!! Sing the chorus loud to remind yourself of how great you are!

Song of The Week for the week beginning Monday 11th January 2021 is 'Suspicious Minds' by Elvis Presley. He was born on 8th January!

Song for the Week beginning Tuesday 5th January 2021: As a whole school, we will participate in the Young Voices Biggest Sing on February 2nd 2021. Here is the song that we will all be singing, with thousands of other children around the UK, for you to practise at home. See if you can learn the accompanying signs too! 

Song for Week Beginning 14th December: Merry Christmas Everyone! A Happy Song to see us into the holidays!

The Song for the week Beginning Monday 7th December: Let's get into the Christmas mood this week with an old favourite from this time last year, "Last Christmas" by Wham!
